Cold converters, also called customer stations
or vacuum insulated cold evaporators, are installed at the
premises of customers in the steel, pharmaceutical, chemical,
petrochemical, glass, gas, engineering, food industries etc.
both for bulk as well as back-up supplies.
These cold
converters assure the customer of uninterrupted pressure
regulated supply of gas for various processes. Cold converters
are double walled vacuum and perlite or super insulated
cryogenic tanks for storage of industrial gases at cryogenic
temperature.
The inner vessel of the tank, made of stainless
steel, withstands
cryogenic temperatures easily. The vertical design of these cold
converter tanks
ensures coverage of minimum floor space, making it ideal
for outdoor installation at customer locations.
